PROJECT ENGINEER

- You will analyze, plan and direct the execution of long-term programs for operational support, including installation and test activities of select alternations for SSBNs and shore based facilities.
- You will support contracting activities for industry and government work performers.
- You will develop, analyze and prepare budgets for cognizant equipment and sustainment activities.
- You will perform detailed planning for test execution, installation and sustainment to meet program requirements and ensure work performers meet the requirements.
- You will conduct studies pertaining to the reliability, maintainability and long-range support of existing components and proposed upgrades.
Requirements
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer providing programmatic knowledge and sound judgement to solve complex problems, comply with analytical operational and installation and test requirements for weapons systems (e.g. TRIDENT missile, re-entry systems, guidance systems, shipboard subsystems).
