Responsibilities include loading feeders, verifying part numbers and setup, supporting solder paste printing, pick-and-place, and reflow processes, and inspecting boards for workmanship or obvious defects. Maintains production flow by responding to machine alarms, replenishing materials, documenting production activity, and following quality, safety, and work instruction requirements.Overall Summary:*Developing support individual contributor. *Works under general supervision. *Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. *Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.Nature of Supervision:*Works under general supervision. *Less detailed instructions are provided, and moderate peer review is required.Communication & Influence:*Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.Innovation & Complexity:*Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. *Follows established process to complete tasks. *Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. *Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.Organization Impact:*Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. *Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.Education & Experience:*Requires developing job knowledge/skills on how to run an SMT line.*Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
