Job Title: Production Assembler 2Pay rate: $22.68/hrLocation: Simi Valley, CAArea Code: 805ZIP Code: 93063Start Date: Right AwayShift: 2nd shiftKeywords: #AssemblerJobs #ProductionAssembly #ManufacturingJobsBenefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision * 401k* On the job training / cross-training * Life Insurance, disability insurance* Voluntary life insurance for family members available. * Accident and critical illness insurance optional. * Scheduled performance reviews* Referral programJob Designation:The Production Assembler 2 performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations under moderate guidance and in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.Responsibilities:* Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.* Conducts inspections of own work and/or the work of other associates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and/or customer drawings and specifications.* Applies process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell and records production time and quantity data.* Maintains the work area in accordance with company guidelines and participates in events as required.* Performs basic welding, brazing, or soldering tasks and may operate light machinery such as sandblasting, electro-etching equipment, and presses.* Actively follows and demonstrates all safety policies and procedures.* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.* Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. May be required to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as needed.Qualifications:* Skilled in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.* Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery.* Ability to read and interpret company documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures.* Strong manual dexterity with the ability to work with small parts.* Ability to recognize and resolve routine problems within the work area by selecting solutions from established options.* Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Education & Experience:Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, combined with work experience that supports successful job performance.Certifications:Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
